Rabbi Weiman-Kelman is a leader in Israeli/Palestinian peace efforts and interfaith dialogue, a leader in the Israeli Movement for Progressive Judaism, and is on the board of the Interreligious Coordinating Council in Israel (ICCI) and Rabbis for Human Rights.
